Course Description
Advanced SWARM is offered to students who have completed SWARM: Students Writing And Recording Music. The course is offered one semester every other year and features expanded education and experience to the most accomplished student songwriters, producers and performers on campus. As in SWARM, the students create a CD and performance of the music they compose. In addition to this, Advanced SWARM students learn how to own and operate their own independent record label, from production to promotion and sales. We study Diane Rapaport's book How To Make And Sell Your Own Recordings.
